Squirrel at Rest

Captured this shot of a squirrel at Hap Magee Park.

Squirrel at rest...

There must have been a dozen or more (this one included) rocketing through the foliage preparing for Winter.  Collecting acorns and doing what they do best - squirrelling them away.

And another perched in the trees...

Squirrel perching...

Both were taken with the "new" Hexanon 135mm F3.2 prime - this is a really satisfying lens to use with its wonderful contrast and ease of (manual) focus.  These images don't illustrate the contrast well, and the brilliant greens that the Hexanon seem to bring out best as I done some post-work in Leonardo on the iPad to crop, sharpen and add a little vignette for effect.  The originals though are very vibrant.
